Good news for the French immigrant community in Beit Shemesh: The French Embassy in Israel will provide all its services to French immigrants through a special branch that will operate in the city!

Deputy Consul of France in Israel, Mr. Fabian Cope, arrived today to visit the Beit Shemesh Municipality at the initiative of City Council member Rabbi Shlomo Brillant and also met with the professional team and Mayor Dr. Aliza Bloch .
In a working meeting held in the Beit Shemesh municipality, it was agreed that the French Embassy in Israel team would come to the city once every few weeks and provide immigrants living in the city of Beit Shemesh with all consular services, such as issuing passports, declaration of life, submitting documents, and more.


City Council member Rabbi Shlomo Brillant said at the meeting: "I thank the consulate staff for the important news we brought to the French immigrant community living in the city. In the coming weeks we will issue an orderly announcement to the residents and I am glad that I had the privilege of leading the move."


Mayor Dr. Aliza Bloch concluded: "We are making great efforts to bring new audiences to Beit Shemesh and I see great importance in strengthening the immigrant communities in the city. We already have an absorption department that does an excellent job and I am happy about the important strengthening of the service we provide to residents. I thank Deputy Consul Mr. Fabian Kopp for the visit and the significant work for the benefit of the city's residents."
