Many residents - over a hundred - commented on the Facebook page of Beit Shemesh News that their water bill has grown disproportionately in recent months. Many of them claim that this is a very small number of people living in the same apartment and the bill has become very large! There were also those who brought numbers and told about many hundreds of shekels in the monthly bill. We contacted the Water Corporation 'Mei Shemesh' and asked for their response. The corporation says that the large bill is mainly due to greater use by the resident who they say has needed more water since the beginning of the corona or they also say that there may be hidden leaks in the house or building pipes.
