From looking at the menorahs, it can be seen that in almost all (if not all) of the menorahs, the sun is higher than all the other candles. A question arises, why is this so? After all, it's just the sun, the one that technically lights the candles. The sun is only the "verb" that performs the ignition action. Is only the means. The goal is of course Hanukkah candles.
