Yesterday at 6:30 p.m., the City Council plenary session was held in the Branko Weiss Sports Hall. The plenary session, unlike in recent months, passed quietly and quickly.

As the Beit Shemesh News reporter learned, the silence may have occurred following the removal of items 4, 5, and 6 from the plenary agenda. This was probably due to the renewal of contacts between the Likud faction and the mayor.

We should note that yesterday a joint statement was issued by the mayor and the Likud chairman, which probably also proves the renewed closeness that has been created.

Approval of appropriations was also dropped from the agenda, a move that disappointed quite a few council members, and despite this, no public debates arose and the plenary session passed quietly.
Is this the calm before another storm or is it a calm that heralds the beginning of renewed contacts after battles in which everyone learned their place?

The 'Beit Shemesh News' reporter will continue to check and update later.

At the end of the plenary session, the council members were seen dancing in honor of the holiday of Purim in high spirits. Watch Shetrit and Escalou Mola dance together with Goldberg, Ehrenreich, and Silverstein in the video below:
