For the first time: an ultra-Orthodox councilwoman will serve on the Beit Shemesh city council

Following the resignation of the outgoing mayor Aliza Bloch from the Beit Shemesh City Council , Tami Sussman number 4 on the list of "United Beit Shemesh" will enter the council.

Sussman is about 46 years old, an ultra-Orthodox resident of the Ramat Beit Shemesh 3 neighborhood and known as a social activist in the city. Sussman will be the first ultra-Orthodox council member in the history of Beit Shemesh.
