The local planning and construction committee of the Beit Shemesh municipality met twice in the last few days, for the first time in the new council and after about six months of not meeting due to the elections and what preceded them in the previous council.

The committee was convened by the chairman of the MM and SSR Shimon Goldberg and was attended by city engineer Guy Donnenfeld , deputy RAS Israel Silverstein, MM and SSR Itzik Almalich, deputy RAS Hanoch Drenger, deputy RAS Motti Leitner , council member Zvi Volitsky, the ombudsman and more.

The committee discussed 125 cases. At last Thursday's hearing, 60 applications were discussed, and last night the committee met again and discussed 65 applications, which were awaiting discussion and promotion for the residents. Each committee took about four hours to answer the many cases.
