What we haven't told you in recent days:

13 of the 21 members of the City Council are adamant that they will not vote for the budget as it is currently presented, which they strongly oppose.

Among those opposing the budget are members from all sides of the city council: Likud, Degel, Aguda, HaBayit Hayehudi, and more.

"The budget is very disturbing to the council members," "We are in no way prepared for it to pass as the mayor presented it to us," these are things we have heard in recent days.

Despite a scathing letter that doesn't come out every day, the friends managed once again to get the mayor to fold.

As reported yesterday in Beit Shemesh News, each council member received a letter signed by the mayor, stating that how he votes on the budget is of great significance and will have consequences for the future.

Apparently, despite the letter, this did not scare most of the council members and they still remained opposed to the budget.

As you may recall, the mayor, who is now forced to make significant changes in order to gain the support of the members of the bloc opposing the budget, postponed the executive meeting from Sunday of this week to Wednesday. The bureau thought they would achieve something in these three days, but it turns out that they were again unable to achieve anything, and this evening they postponed it again for another three days.

The leaders of the opposition bloc told us this evening that a positive atmosphere has been created in light of the changes that the mayor understood she was committed to in the budget and that the direction is now positive.

Will they succeed in these three days what they failed to do in the previous three days? We will continue to follow.
