The late Rabbi Yaakov Uriel Atias

On Saturday, a 42-year-old student from Beit Shemesh, the late Yaakov Atias, died after contracting the Korna virus.

Yaakov and his family have been living in Beit Shemesh for two years, after living in Jerusalem. Dear, God-fearing and loved by all who knew him.

His funeral took place on Saturday night on Mount of Beatitudes in Jerusalem.

He is survived by his wife and three tender children.
