The Beit Shemesh municipality has distributed hundreds of food baskets and parcels to senior citizens throughout the city. The distribution was made in cooperation with the Home Front Command and the Municipal Corona Commander-in-Chief. Israeli police officers from the Beit Shemesh station, volunteers from the Friends of Beit Shemesh organization, dozens of youth volunteers from the Education Administration and more assisted in the distribution.

On Saturday, Aberech from Beit Shemesh, the late Yaakov Atias, 42, died after contracting the Korna virus. Yaakov and his family have been living in Beit Shemesh for two years now, after living in Jerusalem. He is survived by his wife and three tender children.

A wave of burglaries in Beit Shemesh: At least four apartments were broken into on Saturday in the glasses neighborhood of Beit Shemesh, the apartments suffered heavy damage to property after the huge pogrom committed by the burglars in the apartments and the loot with which they set off: money, silverware, jewelry, computers and more. These break-ins follow on from the many apartments that have been broken into in recent months in the Ramat Beit Shemesh B, C, Ramat Avraham neighborhoods and other neighborhoods.
